About the App

Locataio (the "App") is an image layout and collage app that combines multiple images into one. All image processing happens on your device. Your images and generated outputs are never sent to the developer's servers or to any third party.

2. Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library to load the images you select and to generate image layouts on your device.

• Only images you explicitly select are accessed
• Loaded images and generated outputs remain on your device
• Sharing happens only when you explicitly choose a destination from the share sheet (Save to Photos, Messages, Mail, etc.)
• The App never transmits your images or generated outputs externally

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Information Collected

• Advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking via App Tracking Transparency)
• IP address, Device ID, and similar identifiers
• Ad impression and click logs

Purpose

Ad delivery, frequency optimization, fraud prevention

Ad Placement

• Banner ad at the bottom of the image selection screen
• Banner ad on the export completion screen
• Full-screen interstitial ads after export

Opt-Out

• Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Settings → Locataio → Allow Tracking → OFF to disable use of the advertising identifier
• Ads will still appear if you opt out, but behavioral targeting is disabled — only generic ads are shown

Usage Analytics

The App collects anonymous aggregate data such as ad impression counts and export operation frequency for the purpose of app improvement. This data does not contain personally identifying information.

Data Retention

• Image data: The App never transmits images externally, so retention by the developer is zero
• Advertising data: Managed according to Google AdMob's retention policies (https://policies.google.com/privacy)

4. Crash Reports and Diagnostics

The App uses only Apple's standard crash reporting (via TestFlight and App Store Connect). No third-party crash analytics services (Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, etc.) are used.

• The developer receives only aggregated statistics from Apple, with no personally identifying information
• You can disable this by going to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers → OFF

5. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.

Please note that Google AdMob, which is integrated into the App, may display general-audience targeted advertising. For users under 13, please use the App under parental supervision.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

• Images and generated outputs are saved only to the destination you choose from the share sheet (e.g., your photo library)
• The App itself does not persistently store your images on the device (they are discarded when the App exits)
• Advertising data is managed according to Google AdMob's own policies

7. Rights of Users in the EU / UK / California

If you reside in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), including the right to:

• Access personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (CCPA)
